Fishing Adventures…
Sea Quest Suffolk Ltd formed in 2023 to deliver the vision held by business partners Nick and Mark.
As sea angling enthusiasts both have appreciated the health benefits gained through their fishing activities throughout their lives. Modern day living brings about an array of pressures which both found to have been relieved through time fishing, whether from rivers, lakes, shore or at sea.
In 2020 Mark’s brother, Terry unfortunately died following a long battle with a mental health condition. As a youngster, Terry had won local fishing competitions in Felixstowe, Suffolk and spent many happy hours on angling adventures on the pier and surrounding beaches.
‘Neverland’ is a boat inspired by Terry’s life and the 11.2m (36ft) Catamaran has been designed to provide more than just a steady platform to take to sea and fish from. The large deck space, side access door and ramp permits wheelchair access for individuals with disabilities and the large warm cabin with galley provides a space where conversations can take place to help mental health and enhance general well-being.
Both Nick and Mark are keen supporters of a number of charities which include Royal British Legion, the Royal Marines Charity, Help for Heroes and The Suffolk Punch Trust. Nick and Mark aim to continue supporting these and other local charitable groups to ensure this venture has a far reaching benefit to people in need of help where possible.
Nick recently retired following a long career in law enforcement and Mark served in the Royal Marines prior to working in the security and building industries.
The pair have over 90-years angling experience between them, having dangled worms in ponds since early ages.
Their adventures have seen them fish freshwater, on the fly, at sea from shore and on boats.
